These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RoleShift (the "Service"), operated by RoleShift.ai ("we," "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Early Access & Product Maturity

RoleShift is an early-access product.

Features may change, degrade, or be removed at any time. Data loss is possible. Uptime is not guaranteed. The Service may be discontinued without notice.

We operate the Service in good faith but make no promises regarding stability, continuity, or fitness for any particular purpose at this stage.

You use the Service at your own risk.

Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information
• Maintaining the security of your credentials
• All activity conducted under your account

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and analyze your content solely to operate the Service and provide feedback. This license ends when you delete your content or account.

Prohibited Content

Do not upload:

• Illegal or harmful material
• Malware or exploits
• Content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights

We may remove violating content without notice.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We do not guarantee data durability.

AI Features

The Service uses third-party AI services for features such as signal analysis, feedback, and guidance.

AI-generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for evaluating feedback before acting on it.

RoleShift is a coaching aid — not a guarantee of interview success or employment outcomes.

Intended Use

RoleShift is designed as a personal practice and coaching tool for interviews, sales pitches, and investor conversations.

It is not intended for:

• Regulated environments
• Employment decisions or hiring processes
• Legal, medical, or compliance-sensitive use cases
• Use as a system of record

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Abuse, overload, or interfere with the Service
• Circumvent security or rate limits
• Scrape, resell, or sublicense access
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
• Record or share content featuring other individuals without their consent

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.

Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, and branding are owned by RoleShift.ai.

"RoleShift" is a trademark of the company.

Feedback you provide may be used without compensation.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or for any reason with notice. Upon termination, your data may be deleted.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT DATA WILL NOT BE LOST.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME FROM USING THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO JOB OFFERS, SALES, OR INVESTMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

(A) AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR (B) $10 USD.

These limitations reflect the experimental nature of the Service and are a condition of providing early access.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or violations of these Terms or applicable law.

Disputes

Before initiating formal proceedings, contact hello@roleshift.ai to attempt resolution.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
